I’m a former Army medic who landed a remote triage RN role — my best tip is to offer a 5-minute mock telehealth visit in the interview to demo your home setup, documentation flow, and HIPAA practices; it fast-tracked my offer… Caveat: many remote postings end up hybrid, so confirm in writing; I had better luck using the remote filter on USAJOBS: USAJOBS - Search. Anyone else try this?

In my last remote triage hire, I brought a ‘metrics one-pager’ — avg call length, first-call resolution, and patient satisfaction — and offered a 60‑second charting demo; that sealed it. Building on @nichols_56, if they won’t do a mock visit, send a de‑identified note template plus a quick screenshot of your Ethernet speed/backup power so they know you’re reliable without the full Broadway rehearsal.
