Input on next quarter resource priorities

We’re finalizing Q1 allocations next week, and we can either fund 40 housing stipends or expand same-day mental health consults from 3 to 5 days — what would make the bigger difference for you right now? If you’ve hit wait times at the clinic or trouble with rent deposits, let me know where the pinch point is so we can direct support where it helps most.

I’d fund the 5-day consults — when I hit the clinic waitlist, the gap between triage and an actual same-day slot was the killer; adding a daily “walk-in window” 12–2 pm cut no-shows on our team a lot. Could we still ring-fence a few stipends for move-in deposits so folks don’t lose units at the last step?

The biggest pinch for me is ‘rent deposits’ — I’d put Q1 toward the 40 housing stipends and make them deposit-first with a 48-hour turnaround via a simple one-pager or voucher. , when my deposit landed before payroll it almost tipped me over; if you do expand consults, could one of the ‘3 to 5 days’ be an evening until 7 pm instead of more midday? Could we earmark a set portion just for move-in deposits vs arrears?

Leaning toward 5-day consults if the extra coverage is after-work (4–6 pm) with a text-back waitlist to backfill no-shows — like opening a second checkout lane at rush hour. @clinic-ops can we staff two evenings; if not, I’d pivot to stipends targeted to rent arrears with 24-hour payouts.
