The dark humor of medical paperwork

Navigating healthcare paperwork can feel like deciphering a foreign language, especially for us veterans. I often joke that the only thing more confusing than my medical records is a three-hour wait at the clinic. Anyone else have a funny mishap with forms or baffling abbreviations that made you laugh (or cry)?

Sounds about right! I once spent an hour filling out forms only to realize I was using my grocery list instead of the clinic’s paperwork. Ever had a mix-up like that?

I feel you on the three-hour wait! The other day, I spent more time figuring out which box to check for my prescription refill than getting the refill. It’s like they want us to solve a Rubik’s cube just to get our meds.
